Hen Parties at The Cookshelf Cook School
As we approach the traditional wedding season, it is time to acknowledge the job of the hen party organiser.
Today, the hen party is as much a part of the celebrations as the wedding itself and organising the perfect event is no mean feat! The organiser, be it the chief bridesmaid or the bride herself, is charged with the responsibility of catering for a multitude of different tastes and this can be a truly daunting task. How does someone please everyone, all of the time?
There are many factors in creating the perfect event.
Have you ever been invited to a hen party in Las Vegas? Sounds good doesn’t it? Until you find out the party is at the Bellagio and the cost of the flight itself is in excess of £500. Getting the cost right to suit all your guests may involve a bit of diplomacy.
Do your guests want an activity or just clubbing and drinking? Or a bit of both?
Activity Hen Parties are becoming more and more popular. From cooking parties to crafts. The secret is to finding the perfect venue which offers “something else” and booze too. Better still if you can find a venue that is a BYO and doesn’t charge an arm and a leg for a bottle of Prosecco
Sometimes, the most awkward part of a hen party get together is how to include current friends and old friends. Differing age groups from mother in law to nieces. An activity is a super option. The perfect icebreaker.
At The Cookshelf Cook School we offer all of the above. We have a consultation with a Bride or Chief Bridesmaid and make sure that everyone is catered for.
We take care of everything from “Taxi to Tea”. We can even book accommodation to suit all budgets and tastes and we offer a complimentary customised ceramic “Hen Party” plate for the Bride to have on her special day.
